4 large chicken breasts or 1 large block of extra firm tofu
½ Cup olive oil or garlic oil
4 tablespoons Zatar
½ juice of a lemon
1 teaspoon salt
Cut chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces
Completely cover with Zatar making sure all sides are coated
Heat oil in a large shallow pan on medium-high heat
Add chicken and brown on all sides
Turn chicken down to medium
Continue to cook 3-4 minutes until completely cooked through
Add salt and finish with lemon juice
Note: For Vegan tofu Zatar take extra firm tofu and press between two plates until all the moisture is drained from the tofu. Crumble by hand or in a food processor and completely coat tofu with Zatar and cook on medium-high heat until everything gets nice and toasty. Add lemon and salt at the very end.
