A new spice shop can change the way a kitchen feels. One good jar of seasoning turns a plain weeknight dinner into something warm, fragrant, and memorable. A carefully chosen tea, honey, or handmade sweet can make a simple gift feel personal.

Sonoma Spice Queen is happy to announce the opening of our second retail location in Santa Rosa, California, giving local shoppers a new place to explore handcrafted organic spices, locally made pantry goods, seasonal treats, and thoughtful gifts.

The new store is located at 404 Mendocino Ave Suite D, next to Crooks Coffee. We are now welcoming visitors who want to stock their kitchens, build a gift basket, discover something new, or simply celebrate the changing of the seasons with warm flavors and local favorites.

What shoppers will find inside the new store

Sonoma Spice Queen celebrates the changing of the seasons

The opening arrives with an invitation to celebrate the changing of the seasons. We love to celebrate every season and Autumn is my absolute favorite. It is time for hot chocolates, mulling spice, curries, chillies, soups, stews, and roasting sheet pan dinners. We have many differnt hot chocolates to choose from, pumpkin spice items, our new Gravenstein Apple Spice mix and a plethora of individual warming spices just waiting for your favorite baking recipe. Allspice, anise, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, ginger, are all some of my favorites and most are available whole or ground.

Why visiting sonoma spice queen in person matters

There is a special value in walking into a spice shop. It slows down the buying process in a good way and alows you to explore and become a culinary adventure. You can see the spices and smell all the mixes and have a true sensory expirience. You can see the love

and meaning we put into our store and all the small makers we support under one roof. You

can put a name to the person you are supporting. Wind is owner and operator, creator and spice maker. Mark owns Tea and Trumpets a local tea company. Libby makes our amazing caramels and is a local mom. Dewitt owns Kiss the Flower honey and has the best local honey with the bees being treated extremly humanely. Alice and Jenny are my local artist friends that make wondeful tea towels. Phadra owns FloraLuna Apothecary and makes beautiful bitters and coktail syrups. Volo chocolate is owned by Susan and Jeff local chefs

who make bean to bar chocolate with super fun flavors. Joeanne and Dan own Little Apple Treats and make award winning shrubs, and vinegars.

Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to all our Petaluma customers. Thank you for your kindness, love, and support as we have made this journey for the last 13 years. From the Farmer's Markets, to our retail stores you have all been so wonderful and supportive. It is very hard as a small business owner and I could not of opened this 2nd location with out you! See everyone soon at the OG original Sonoma Spice Queen or SSQ #2 in Santa Rosa.

WELCOME SANTA ROSA!!

Thank you! Wind- Sonoma Spice Queen
